Points to note when visiting
Important
- When using Taisho Romankan Kimono, you must agree to these policies. When the reservation occurs,
it is assumed that you have agreed to the terms of use from the other page.
- If you have not received a reservation confirmation email
and want to confirm your reservation,

Please check your reception settings in advance.
- Consent by a parent or guardian is required for use by minors.
After the reservation has been confirmed,
it will be assumed that the consent of a parent/guardian has been obtained.
- Dressing for pregnant women
We are sorry but we will refuse the offer.
Restrictions to prevent infectious diseases
- Please be sure to wear a mask.
- If you have a fever of 37°C or higher,
please refrain from visiting the store.
Before you visit us
- Please arrive in between
5 minutes before to 5 minutes after your appointment time.
Please note that even if you contact us,
if you are more than 15 minutes late, your reservation will be automatically cancelled,
and an 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
- For females, please come with a hair style
that does not use hair wax.
- There is no particular space for makeup in the store.
Please do it in advance.
- Please be sure to come clean.
- Large luggage such as
carry case etc. cannot be stored.
Please store it somewhere else such as a coin locker in advance.
(We can keep hand-held luggage/clothes, etc.
in a 40L bag.)
- When changing clothes,
there are no room dividers.
For those who are concerned about it,
please wear innerwear, leggings, etc.
when visiting us.
- In principle, we refuse entry
for those who will not wear kimono(including children).
Please meet up
outside of the store or at the 1F cafe.
- Please refrain from bringing in food and drinks.
-Return time is usually 17:30(5:30 P.M.).
※We will notify you if there are any changes.
If the return time has passed, a late fee of ¥1000 will be charged for every 10 minutes. When 30 minutes have passed, it will be treated as a next day return,
and your luggage will also be returned the next day.
Precautions while wearing kimono
- While wearing kimono, please refrain from having things in which the smell can stick to clothes
(tobacco, grilled meat, monjayaki, perfume, etc.).
- Please refrain from bringing pets into any area of the store.
Please also refrain from doing anything such as
hugging a pet while wearing a kimono.
About rental items
- The size of rental items such as kimonos is about
S, M, and L sizes of adults.
These are suitable for people over 145cm tall.
Cancellation
- In principle, we do not accept cancellations.
If it is unavoidable, we will accept the cancellation but
<if the cancellation is after 12:00 noon of the day before the appointment, 100% of the reservation fee>
will be charged as a cancellation fee.
With "cancellation of reservation" clearly stated,
please send your name, date and time, and plan reserved
to romankan.staff+cancel@gmail.com .
※If you make a reservation after 12:00 noon of the day before,
a cancellation fee will be charged
for a cancellation in which the reservation is confirmed.
※Even if the reason is coronavirus infection, weather, etc.,
a cancellation fee will be charged regardless
so please contact us as soon as possible.
※After the reservation cancellation completion email has been sent,
we will confirm your cancellation.
